Inland from Agadir, the road climbs into the foothills of the Atlas, where the Tamraght river has carved a palm-lined gorge known as Paradise Valley. Rock pools, small cascades and the shade of palms make it a peaceful counterpoint to the coast — a day for walking, swimming when the water allows, and simply slowing down.
